Aeschi Thun Spiez
After having settled into the beautiful Hotel Aeschi Park near Spiez, on Wednesday morning, we were getting ready for our next concert in the evening in the church of Frutigen with the Berner Örgeliplausch musicians. After an early morning rehearsal, during the day, many of us took the opportunity to visit Thun. It has beautiful historic buildings, an impressive castle from the 12th century and many bridges under which the Aare, leaving the Thunersee flows towards Bern. Others visited nearby Spiez with its beautiful harbor area or just took some walks from the hotel into nearby meadows.
